Precipitated Barium Sulfate for Powder Coatings
Precipitated Barium Sulfate serves as a high-performance extender filler in powder coatings. Featuring fine particle size, narrow particle distribution and low oil absorption, it greatly improves the levelling property and powder transfer efficiency, forming smooth and uniform coating films. With stable chemical resistance to acid, alkali and aging, it enhances the coating’s weather resistance, film hardness and scratch resistance, and prevents chalking. It also optimizes opacity. When used together with titanium dioxide, it reduces formulation costs and fits well in both high-gloss and matte powder coating systems.
