Matte Barium Sulfate for Powder Coatings
Barium sulphate acts as a functional filler in matte coatings. It scatters incident light to reduce specular reflection and deliver uniform, soft matte or semi-matte finish. It can reduce the dosage of expensive matting agents to cut formulation costs, meanwhile improving film hardness, weather resistance and scratch resistance. With stable chemical property, acid & alkali resistance and high whiteness, it optimizes paint levelling and enhances coating compactness.
